The Sheepfold Initiative

The Legacy Relief Project Sheepfold Initiative will serve women who need immediate stabilization before transitioning to longer term aftercare facilities, or their next best step. We are laying the foundation to open a Christ-centered Emergency Stabilization Safe House (Sheepfold Initiative, John 10:7-16) in the southern Colorado region, with the vision to expand throughout the U.S., for female sex trafficking survivors.

17 out of every 20 survivors walk away from the care they desperately need

That's like filling a lifeboat, only to watch most passengers jump back into dangerous waters before reaching shore.

FREEDOM

Drawing from John 10:7-16, we're building more than walls and rooms - we're creating holy ground where women can remember who they were always meant to be. Our Christ-centered emergency stabilization safe house in southern Colorado stands in this crucial gap between rescue and renewal.

Here, women find:

  • A sacred space to breathe, think, and begin to dream again

  • Gentle guidance to rediscover their God-given identity and worth

  • Support in answering the overwhelming 'what next?'

  • A bridge between immediate safety and long-term healing

  • Freedom to embrace their true identity as daughters of the King

We refuse to let another woman emerge from the ashes without the chance to fully reclaim her hope, freedom, and divine identity. Starting in southern Colorado, with a vision to expand nationwide, we're creating specialized emergency safe houses that reflect God's heart for His daughters - places where trauma-informed care meets divine restoration.

When a survivor finds the courage to reach for freedom, the window for intervention is brief but precious. The Sheepfold Initiative ensures that window becomes a wide-open door to transformation - addressing not just physical safety, but the deeper renewal of mind, spirit, and identity.

Join us in building these crucial sanctuaries of hope. Together, we can ensure that when women take that brave first step, they find not just temporary shelter, but a supported path to lasting freedom - one that restores their God-given identity and eternal worth.

In the critical moments when a survivor first steps toward freedom, she faces her greatest battle: 'What comes next?'

It's in this overwhelming uncertainty that 85% of women return to familiar darkness within their first two weeks of rescue - not because they want to, but because tomorrow feels more daunting than yesterday.

If God Himself were to create a sanctuary for these precious daughters, what would it be? A place where each woman could rediscover her true identity as His beloved creation, where she could shed the labels others placed on her and reclaim the divine purpose written into her very soul. This sacred vision guides The Legacy Relief Project's Sheepfold Initiative.
